We grouped a bunch of features we were working on, and called the launch the “AI Week”. Following a deadline for a group of several new features was a fun challenge, and we learnt a lot of things in the way.

I completely revamped the History panel to enable time travel through content.

Built filtering capabilities by author and date range, implemented repository state navigation at any point in time, and created the block restoration feature that allows users to recover previous versions with just a few clicks.

I redesigned the entire Variants workflow after recognizing the counter-intuitive manual setup process.

Created an improved popover interface that consolidates all variant configurations, allowing users to set up document children variants easily while maintaining granular control over which blocks are affected.

I implemented live collaboration features including real-time cursors and activity tracking in the BaseHub editor.

Built the follow mode functionality that allows team members to follow each other's work in real-time, enhancing peer working sessions and making collaboration more immersive and seamless.
